Ferrell, Wahlberg reunite for Daddy’s Home

Could Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg reunite?
Deadline reports that Paramount is looking to get “The Other Guys” duo back together to star in its comedy “Daddy’s Home”.
Last year it looked as though Vince Vaughn would star with Ferrell under direction from Etan Cohen, however Paramount has made some changes to the line up, now looking to bring Wahlberg on board to star with Sean Anders and John Morris in talks to helm.
“Daddy’s Home” will see Ferrell take on the role of a mild-mannered radio exec who strives to be the best stepdad ever to his wife’s two children. But when the kids’ real dad (Wahlberg) arrives on the scene, the stepdad is forced to turn up the heat, competing for the children’s affection.
Brian Burns and Adam McKay wrote the script with Chris Henchy and Cohen.
The studio is looking to get production underway in the US fall.
