Hot on the cherry-coloured boots of those soaring ratings, The CW’s “Supergirl” has released a first look at Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen as Guardian. In his new role as a superhero, Olsen joins former flame Supergirl to help fight crime.
Jack Kirby and Joe Simon created the character, who in the comics was originally the alter-ego of Jim Harper. James Olsen never donned the Guardian garb in paper form.
“Supergirl”, now in it’s second season, recently moved from CBS to The CW.
