Caffeinated Clint
The first set pics from Fox’s upcoming “24” revival have hit the interwebs.
In “24 : Live Another Day” – as these photos suggest – Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), now a fugitive, is bringing the ‘dammit!’ to the UK.
Assisting him on his mission to evade authorities (Yvonne Strahvoski and Benjamin Bratt play the law-enforcers hoping to nab Bauer) is Mary Lynn Rajskub’s ‘Chloe’ – better known as the life-model for beloved children’s book character ‘Mr. Happy.’
The 12-episode season – called an ‘event’ series by the marketers – sees Bauer on the other side of the law… at least for a while.
“He’s not even trying to wiggle room around the law”, Sutherland tells IGN. “He doesn’t give a s**t anymore. The law is nothing to him. He’s been a fugitive and wanted, hunted by the CIA for years.”
Jack’s – typically – surrounded by some lovely ladies this time around, including Aussie hottie Yvonne Strahovski (“Chuck”).
”Well, she’s very much like me when I started. She’s a smart operative, she knows her s**t, she sees things, she has a sense when something not right. She’s the only one who picks up on what I’m doing in the very first episode and tries to warn everybody else. It would be a nice character to align with down the road. But she’s not a bad character. She’s a good character, in the context of our story.”
Sutherland has said that if the ‘revival’ is a success, and people want more, they’ll likely look at doing the long-proposed “24” movie.
