The first set pics from “Terminator : Genesis” have hit Skynet – er, the internet. Close enough.
The pictures, taken near the New Orleans set of the Alan Taylor-directed film, feature Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney.
As previously revealed, Schwarzenegger is playing the title character again – albeit an “aged” version.
Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”) is Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney (“Divergent”) is time-traveling resistance fighter Kyle Reese, and Jason Clarke (“Zero Dark Thirty”) plays future leader John Connor.
The film involves time-travel – apparently the Terminator travels back and forwards… even to places he’s been before- which explains how an older John Clarke can be in the same scene as his young mother here.
J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung-hun Lee, Michael Gladis and Sandrine Holt also star in the July 1, 2015 release.
