Dexter Fletcher (“Eddie the Eagle”) will take over for Bryan Singer on Fox’s Freddie Mercury biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
According to Deadline, production resumes next on the film with actor come filmmaker Fletcher shooting the last two weeks of the film and handling the film’s post-production.
The film, starring Rami Malek, Joe Mazello, Ben Hardy, and Gwilyn Lee, covers a key period in the life of the band Queen, which Mercury fronted.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” is scheduled for release Christmas 2018.
