Caffeinated Clint
Gil Kenan, director of the recent “Poltergeist” remake, will direct the feature adaptation of the popular video game series “Five Nights at Freddy’s”.
Set in a fast food place, your objective in the game is to take down the animatronic animals that come to life after closing hours.
Much like the game, it’s expected that the film will go for hard scares.
Per Deadline, Kenan is writing the script with Tyler Burton Smith; Roy Lee (“The Ring”) and Seth Graeme-Smith (“Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter”) are producing.
The project is housed at Warner Bros.
