Put July 16th in your diaries, Game Of Thrones fans, with HBO announcing the premiere date for the forthcoming seventh season. The seven-episode stint of the fantasy-drama was announced via live Facebook feed, with over 150,000 fans watching the announcement.
A teaser trailer has also been uploaded online (see below), which doesn’t give much away but certainly creates a buzz around the release date.
The emmy-award winning series is nearing its end, with HBO previously confirming that season eight will be its final one. If you’ve read the books, you may have an idea of what’s to come, until then we’ll just have to rewatch the dragon heads over and over until July 16th.
