Julie Benz joins latest “Rambo” sequel
Cable series “Dexter” (not a bad show either, check it out if you have a chance) has seemingly done wonders for the career of Julie Benz – best remembered for her long-running role as the bloodsucking Darla on “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer” and spin-off, “Angel” – who has now found herself with a major movie role.
Benz, whose biggest film credits include “George of the Jungle 2” and “Jawbreaker”, has joined the cast of “John Rambo”; the third and [assuming here] final sequel to the 1982 classic, “First Blood”, says Variety.
I imagine that Benz is playing the part of Stallone’s wife; a role that “Deadwood” star Kim Dickens was rumoured to have secured.
The new “Rambo” is currently filming in Thailand.
