Paul Feig’s “Ghostbusters” reboot is finally getting off the ground, with the writer/director taking to twitter to share casting and release date news with fans.
An all-female cast has come together with funny ladies Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones set to star. Moreover, the film will be released on July 22, 2016.
“In other news, #Ghostbusters will be hitting theaters July 22, 2016. Save the date!” Tweets Feig just a couple of hours after posting a picture of his four leading ladies.
Kate Dippold is writing the screenplay however plot details are not yet known.
