Goyer : Man of Steel is the kind of movie the world needs right now

One of the most anticipated films of the year, “Man of Steel” is still a few months off, but even the most squat of talk gets us fanboys perspiring with excitement.

David S.Goyer, the screenwriter of the ‘Superman’ reboot, was doing the media rounds at the TCA upfront’s this week, where he’s promoting his new TV offering “Da Vinci’s Demons”, and naturally he’s been popped with the odd “Man of Steel” question.

Goyer, speaking to Access Hollywood, says working on a ‘Superman’ movie was much trickier than rebooting the recent “Batman” trilogy.

“It’s the kind of movie the world reads right now”, Goyer says.

Here’s the full chat.
