Greg Kinnear’s directorial debut wraps

Principal photography has wrapped on Academy Award nominated actor Greg Kinnear’s directorial debut “Phil”, a dark comedy written by Stephen Mazur, (”Liar, Liar”) which also stars Kinnear and Emily Mortimer (”The Newsroom”).

In “Phil”, a dentist whose life is falling apart struggles to find his path back after a patient —who seemed to have it all — unexpectedly commits suicide.

Jay Duplass (”Transparent”), Robert Forster (”Jackie Brown”), Taylor Schilling (”Orange is the New Black”), Bradley Whitford (”I Saw The Light”) and Luke Wilson (”Meadowland”) round out the outstanding ensemble cast.

“Phil” is a Bron Studios production, in association with Single Cell Pictures, Imperative Entertainment and CW Media Finance. The Producers are Aaron L. Gilbert and Sandy Stern. Bradley Thomas is also producing along with Executive Producers Jason Cloth, Andy Pollack and Ron McLeod. WME is representing the film.
