“Harry Potter” and “Withnail & I” star Richard Griffiths has died after complications from heart surgery.
The 65-year-old, a popular stage of stage, screen and television, is probably recognized for his role as Uncle Vernon Dursley in the “Harry Potter” series.
Griffiths, who grew up in Yorkshire in Northern England, has also appeared in “The Naked Gun 2.5”, “The History Boys” and Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo”, to name but a few of his efforts.
