Caffeinated Clint
With “Howl” going on to achieve great success on the, um, cable (?), Hollywood thought it time to rush another Allen Ginsberg flick into production. Wearing the spectacles of the author this time is none other than “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe. The idea mightn’t make your wand stand up, but the premise sounds half-interesting; in “Kill Your Darlings”, Ginsberg meets Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs at University, and they get caught up in some kind of murder scenario. Yep, it’s that long-hankered-for “Naked Lunch” meets” Murder She Wrote” movie that people have been pimping Griffin Mill for years. Aside from the Pothead, the film also features Ben Foster, Elizabeth Olsen (yummy!), Dane Dehaan, Jack Huston, Michael C. Hall, Kyra Sedgwick, and Jennifer Jason Leigh (‘she’s probably somebody’s babbbby’).
