Kevin Hart and his “Ride Along” director Tim Story look set to reunite for another action-comedy – – and this time they’re bringing Jamie Foxx along for the ride.
According to Variety, “Black Phantom”, which has been in development at Sony Screen Gems since 2009, has been resuscitated by the “Ride Along” team, who’ve decided Hart and Foxx would be ideal to play it’s two central characters : hit men. In the Megan Hinds and Dave Lease-script, a mob hitman is double-crossed and turns to assistance from an unlikely source, another hitman (‘Black Phantom’) that was hired to kill him.
Will Gluck, of “Easy A” and “Annie” fame, is one of the film’s producers.
