“Origins” introduces a new character each week
Such is the success of “Heroes” that NBC has already greenlit a spin-off series.
As far as we can gather, it’s not going to be a “Parent Trap-style” sitcom featuring both of Ali Larter’s characters. Nope.
A press release from the network simply states that the show is called “Heroes: Origins” and is “an innovative new spin-off that each week will introduce a new character — one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the “Heroes” website on NBC.com to become a cast regular the following season.”
A damn smart way to fill in the gaps between the seasons, if you ask me.
