While we always assumed Batman would either cameo or at least be referenced in David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad”, it’s still up in the air how exactly the Caped Crusader will figure into proceedings.
Latino Review’s El Mayimbe have a probable answer to the oft-asked query. Seems Batman will be an integral part of the storyline, but he might only appear via video footage (meaning Ben Affleck mightn’t even have to be in the suit).

They have footage of Batman in action which they watch. If “Suicide Squad” is linked to “Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice” then it’s also possible it shares connectivity with some of DC’s other upcoming movies, including “Wonder Woman” and “Aquaman”.
