Insidious 5 could be on the cards after the success of The Last Key

It’s been a great couple of years for the horror genre, with films such as “Get Out”, “IT”, and now “Insidious: The Last Key” getting the recognition they deserve.

The latter has been the best performing of the “Insidious” chapters, topping $164m at the box office, and according to Bloody Disgusting, cementing a fifth film to be released. Sources are telling them that it’s also unlikely to be another prequel.

And to that I say thank goodness, as I think the “surprise prequel” thing has been done enough now. Let’s go back to linear storytelling for a bit.
