Warner Bros. has its sights set on Gregg Hurwitz’s upcoming novel “Orphan X” with hopes to have Bradley Cooper star in a film adaptation.
The studio is in talks for the film rights to the thriller which is set to be published in February 2016.
The story centres on the world of human slavery.
Should Warner Bros. nab the rights, the studio also plans for Cooper to produce with his producing partner and “Hangover” director Todd Phillips.
Hurwitz will pen the adaptation.
