Is Jason Momoa playing Aquaman?

Update : The Hollywood Reporter says Momoa is indeed playing Aquaman in the film “Batman vs. Superman : Dawn of Justice”.

Jason Momoa (“Game of Thrones”, “Conan”) has supposedly signed up to play water hero Aquaman in “Batman vs. Superman : Dawn of Justice” – which would then lead into a part in “Justice League”.

Momoa responded to the rumours today on his Instagram account. He’s holding a trident – something very Aquaman-ish. But he’s also giving us the middle finger.

So is he saying it’s true? Or is he debunking the rumour?

Guess time will tell.
