Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion have partnered up to offer the next best thing to a “Firefly” revival, or potentially, an even better thing since this one has no chance of getting cancelled (too soon?). What is it? That would be a crowdfunded web series, “Con Man”, set in the sci-fi circuit world of conventions, comic book stores, and pop culture events. They say write what you know…
Why not a network?
Alan explains: “If you partner with someone who doesn’t appreciate the world, doesn’t like the world your show is set in then they cancel it….I have trust issues.” Good call, Alan.
