It's not over till the "Big Fat" lady sings

Universal has agreed to distribute "Connie and Carla", the next movie by Nia Vardalos, the writer and star of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, says The Hollywood Reporter. The film is described as "music-driven" by the trade paper, which indicated that Vardalos will sing in it. The film, to be produced by Spyglass Entertainment, is due to begin shooting in April.
