J.K Simmons to play The Boss! (no, not that one) in new musical

Academy Award Winner J.K Simmons (“Whiplash”) is reuniting with director Damien Chazelle for Lionsgate music “La La Land”, says Variety.

The film stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as a jazz pianist and aspiring actress, respectively, who fall in love but face difficulties as they become more successful.

Chazelle wrote the script.

Simmons, currently in “Terminator : Genisys”, plays a character called ‘The Boss’. No relation to Springsteen.
