Jack Whitehall cast in Jungle Cruise

British comedian (and heartthrob) Jack Whitehall has nabbed a role in “Jungle Cruise” alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. Whitehall will play Blunt’s brother in the film — a key role in the storyline, reports Variety.

Jaume Collet-Serra is on board to direct the movie based on the classic theme park attraction, which operates in several Disney Parks across the globe and takes guests on a guided tour through the rivers of the world.

Disney’s plan is to develop it into a film franchise – success pending of course.

Whitehall is best known as a stand-up comedian, and currently has a special on Netflix called “Jack Whitehall: At Large”. He also created and starred in series “Bad Education”, and is currently in production for Amazon mini-series “Good Omens” and the Netflix series “Travels With My Father”.

He’s also a stone-cold fox, so well done Whitehall. I shall be seeing this film.
