Caffeinated Clint
Former Shaft actors Richard Roundtree and Samuel L.Jackson will reprise their roles from their respective “Shaft” films for New Line Cinema’s “Son of Shaft”.
Joining Roundtree and Jackson, Jessie Usher (“Independence Day : Resurgence”) who’d play the estranged son of Jackson’s John Shaft.
Roundtree reprised his role in the Jackson-starring reboot. This film will see Usher play his grandson, an FBI agent and cyber expert who is teamed with his old school father (Jackson).
Tim Story (“Ride Along”) will direct a script by Kenya Barris.
