Jason Momoa could be the next addition to MGM’s “The Magnificent Seven” remake.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa is in negotiations for a role in the film opposite attached stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wagner Moura and Haley Bennett.
Antoine Fuqua is directing the remake from John Lee Hancock and Nic Pizzolatto’s script about a woman (Bennett) who hires a disparate group of gunslingers to protect her town from rampaging bandits.
Roger Birnbaum and Todd Black are producers. Walter Mirisch and Fuqua are exec producers.
