Justin Hires will play the Chris Tucker role in CBS’s small-screen take on “Rush Hour”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Bill Lawrence-created series follows the same template as the New Line Cinema films, with a Hong Kong cop and a L.A cop who team up to take down a rogue.
Hires (“21 Jump Street”) plays Carter, opposite John Foo’s Detective Lee.
Brett Ratner, who directed the three “Rush Hour” movies, executive produces the series.
