“Battlestar Gallactica” alumni Katee Sackhoff is joining the cast of “The Flash” for the upcoming season 4. Sackhoff will be playing villain Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith, a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains (via EW).
Sackhoff’s character will pop up in episode four, titled “Girls Night Out”, which will also serve as an “Arrow” crossover with Emily Bett Rickards also appearing in the ep. Rickards plays Felicity Smoak in “Arrow”.
The actress joins a few other new faces in the show, including Sugar Lyn Beard as Hazard, Hartley Sawyer as The Elongated Man, Neil Sandilands as The Thinker, Kim Engelbrecht as The Mechanic and Danny Trejo as the Earth-19 bounty hunter Breacher.
“The Flash” season 4 hits The CW on October 10th.
