Keanu Reeves reveals Bill & Ted 3 Plot

With Dean Parisot now set to helm, “Bill & Ted 3” seems to be gaining steam.

In an interview with GQ, star Keanu Reeves revealed some minor plot details about the long-awaited sequel to 1991’s “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey”.

In the film, Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Reeves) are “crushed by the responsibility of having to write the greatest song ever written and to change the world. And they haven’t done it. So everybody is kind of like: ‘Where is the song?’ The guys have just drifted off into esoterica and lost their rock.”

In a nice twist on Scrooge’s yarn, the film then takes Bill & Ted into the future where they’re able to see what their futures would’ve been like had they had completed their song.

“We go on this expedition, go into the future to find out if we wrote the song, and one future ‘us’ refuses to tell us, and another future ‘us’ blames us for their lives because we didn’t write the song, so they’re living this terrible life,” Reeves said. “In one version we’re in jail; in another we’re at some kind of highway motel and they hate us.”

Hopefully the guys still have it… no, not chafing, it.
