If you’ve IMDB’ed this movie in the past couple of days, then chances are, you already know about these two already joining the film, if not, then here’s the scoop: Variety has reported that former “Crossing Jordan” and “J. Edgar” actor Ken Howard and “Hot Tub Time Machine”‘s Clark Duke have joined the cast of Stu Zicherman’s “A.C.O.D.” (Adult Children of Divorce).
The film has Adam Scott (“Parks and Recreation”) in the lead role as a man who learns he was enlisted in a study about divorced children many years ago. When he’s ushered into a present-day follow-up study, it creates new havoc for his family.
Currently filming in Atlanta, the film also stars Richard Jenkins, Jane Lynch, Amy Poehler, Jessica Alba, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Catherine O’Hara.
Howard will play Scott’s amicable stepfather, whose calm demeanor can’t save him from becoming enmeshed in the family drama while Duke will play Scott’s younger brother, whose sudden wedding announcement brings his bitterly divorced parents back into each other’s lives.
Teddy Schwarzman is producing and fully financing “A.C.O.D.” through his Black Bear Pictures shingle. Karlin (“Modern Family”) and Tim Perell (“World’s Greatest Dad”) will also produce. Zicherman is directing from a script he co-wrote with Ben Karlin.
