Kevin Spacey is set to star in Netflix biopic “Gore” as title character Gore Vidal. The American Writer spent a lot of time in Rome in the 60s, entertaining a wide variety of guests including Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger, Greta Garbo and Paul Newman, to name a few.
The film will be set in the 1980s, with Michael Hoffman directing and Andy Paterson producing. Thanks to Deadline.
Charlize Theron will guest star in an episode of Seth Macfarlane’s series “The Orville”, an upcoming Fox show. The sci-fi satire show follows the crew on the USS Orville, and the human and aliens aboard as they battle galactic travel and workplace dramas.
Theron’s character is thus far kept under wraps. There’s a panel coming up at Comic-Con, so no doubt more details will be revealed then. “The Orville” kicks off with a two hour premiere September 10 and 17. The series then makes its real time-period premiere on September 28 at 9 PM. News via Deadline.
