Sofia Boutella (“Kingsman: The Secret Service”) is in talks to play the titular monster in Universal’s “The Mummy” reboot.
Plot details remain under wraps, though we do know the film will bring the story into the modern-day and could (or will, if Boutella’s deal comes off) feature a female mummy.
Alex Kurtzman is directing from Jon Spaihts’ script.
“The Mummy” will be released on March 24, 2017.
