Kitty Pryde film in the works with Deadpool director

A long-in-the-thought-stage film based on “X-Men” heroine Kitty Pryde is in the works, THR confirmed today.

The film, working under the codename “143”, will be helmed by “Deadpool” helmer Tim Miller and written by Marvel comic book writer and artist Brian Michael Bendis.

Pryde, a mutant who can phase through objects, was played by Ellen Page in the “X-Men” movies.
