Earlier today The Wrap reported that Disney and Lucasfilm are chasing a young actor to portray Lando Calrissian in the upcoming standalone “Han Solo” movie.
Billy Dee Williams, of course, played the Cloud City charmer in “Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”.
It makes sense that Lando factors into the Solo film, considering he and the smuggler (played by Alden Ehrenreich) go way back – and have a mutual love of one Millennium Falcon.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the film is rumoured to be the first in a trilogy of films fixing on Solo.
According to Birth.Movies.Death, “Community” and “Spider-Man : Homecoming” actor Donald Glover is first choice for the role. Sounds good to us! But let’s see if it works out first before raising the thumb for an up!
