Liam Neeson looks to star in a remake of the British prison thriller “The Escapist”, according to Collider.
Rupert Wyatt made his directorial debut on the 2008 film. No director is set for the U.S version.
The film tells of a prisoner (played by Brian Cox in the original) who recruits fellow inmates to stage a prison break so he can visit his ailing daughter.
