Variety is reporting that Lily Collins, Logan Lerman, Nat Wolff, Liana Liberato, and Kristen Bell have joined the cast of “Writers” opposite Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly.
In the film, which will begin production next week in North Carolina, the dramedy interweaves the stories of the family members, and their love interests, over the course of one tumultuous year.
Kinnear will play a famous novelist obsessed with his ex-wife (Connelly). Collins co-stars as their collegiate daughter who is pursued by fellow writing student, played by Lerman.
In a cameo role, novelist Stephen King plays himself, and other supporting cast members include Rusty Joiner and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Josh Boone will make his directorial debut with the film which he’ll be directing from his own screenplay.
