Look Who’s Back For Fast & Furious 9

How it’s going to be accomplished, I don’t know – particularly since Brian (the late Paul Walker) and Mia go together like Peas and Carrots – but Jordana Brewster’s Mia Toretto looks to co-pilot the next “Fast & Furious” movie.

According to Vin Diesel, Brewster  – who didn’t appear in the last film, “The Fast and the Furious” – is back for the upcoming ninth instalment of the series. If the actor and producer’s comments below (speaking to Today for the opening of the new “Fast” ride at Universal Studios) are anything to go by, the “Faculty” actress may figure into a scenario that involves Toretto family members racing giraffes in Mogadishu.

In addition to confirming both Africa and Brewster, Diesel says they’ve locked in Justin Lin to direct the next two instalments of the series – that tenth film said to be the final film in the franchise.

“Fast 9”, slated for April 2020, will likely bringing back Tyrese Gibson’s, Ludacris’s, Kurt Russell’s and Scott Eastwood’s characters, in addition to the aforementioned talent.

Before all that happens, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are starring in a “Fast” spin-off movie featuring Hobbs and Shaw.
