Pratt signs for fourth “Dolittle” movie
Filmjerk.com has an update on casting for the highly-anticipated – like “Baby Geniuses 3” and “Land Before Time 12”, you can’t get enough dirt on this puppy – sequel, “Doctor Dolittle 4 : First Dog”.
Obviously still waiting for the big offers to come rollin’ in following her bravura turn in the last one, Kyla Pratt has signed on to play Maya Dolittle – daughter of the now-unseen Eddie Murphy – a fourth time; the second time direct-to-dvd.
Check how exciting this one sounds : “Subtitled “First Dog”, this go-round will feature Maya Dolittle (Kyla Pratt) who, when she finds it hard to get in to veterinary school, gets a job at the White House when she is forced to prove her commitment to the animal arts. (Sadly, this kind of backward thinking makes perfect sense considering the current status of our nation.) Maya must work with Daisy, the First Dog, who keeps tearing up the grounds as she runs amok. It seems that Daisy is the key in getting the proper mood set between President Sterling and the Kalampore Prince Tharoor, whose last meeting to help save the Kalampore rain forest ended badly when the President got food poisoning. (Crazy, but that’s how it goes.) There’s also a nasty and evil Chief of Staff who is actually a craven control freak working against the President on this matter, a rebellious Presidential teenage daughter and an intern for the Chief of Staff who becomes a crush for Maya.”
