Margot Robbie is signing a first-look deal with Warner Bros to develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner, reports THR.
According to the outlet, one of the films she has planned at the studio is a “Suicide Squad” spinoff focusing on her character Harley Quinn.
We don’t have many details about that film yet, though word is it will feature multiple female DC heroes.
The overall deal will see Robbie producing and developing projects with her LuckyChap colleagues Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr.
LuckyChap are currently in postproduction on their first movie as producers, the upcoming neo noir thriller “Terminal”. They also have an adaptation of Dean N. Jensen’s “Queen of the Air” set under the new deal.
