Mark Hamill hasn’t been asked to be in Star Wars Episode 7 yet!?

Is he not in it!?

If this is true, I know one particular webmaster who is going to be spitting chips, picketing Lucasfilm and sending some Tusken Raiders after Kathleen Kennedy.

Samuel L.Jackson, who played Mace Windu in the “Star Wars” prequels, was asked by David Letterman whether or not he’d be reprising the role (of course not! The character is dead! Do you need me to write your questions for you from now on, Dave!?) for the forthcoming “Star Wars Episode VII”.

Jackson said that not only has he not been contacted but Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the original prequel series and was deemed a ‘lock’ to appear in the new trilogy, hasn’t even had a call yet.
Considering production isn’t far off, and auditions for the secondary characters are underway, it seems rather strange that Hamill hasn’t been approached yet.

It could be that Hamill’s not telling Jackson everything he knows, or maybe Luke has been written out?
