Move over “Jaws”, Warner Bros is bringing “Meg” to the big screen.
According to The Tracking Board, the studio is adapting Steve Alten’s bestselling 1997 novel “Meg: A Novel Of Deep Terror” about humanity’s encounter with a thought-to-be-long-extinct 60-foot Megalodon shark.
The project has been long in development. The most recent version of the script was penned by Dean Georgaris.
Colin Wilson and Belle Avery are producing.
