Open Road Films has slated Miles Teller boxing drama “Bleed For This” for limited release on November 4, set to go wide on November 23.
Directed by Ben Younger, the film co-stars Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, Ted Levine, Ciaran Hinds, Jordan Gleber and Amanda Clayton.
In “Bleed For This”, Teller plays Vinny “The Pazmanian Devil” Pazienza, a local Rhode Island boxer who shot to stardom after winning two world title fights. But when a near-fatal car accident left him with a severed spine, Vinny was told he might never walk again.
With the help of trainer Kevin Rooney (Eckhart), Pazienza was able to return to the ring to reclaim his title belt just a year after the accident.
