Miles Teller drops out of Adrift

Well we almost got another Miles Teller/Shailene Woodley duo, but alas Teller has been swept offshore… or rather dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.

Word on the street is that Sam Claflin is in talks to replace Teller in the movie, a hurricane-survival thriller. The script, written by Aaron & Jordon Kandell, is based on a true story about Tami Oldham, who was one of two sailors who get stuck in a hurricane while delivering a boat from Tahiti to San Diego.

Woodley previous instagrammed a pic of herself with Teller, taking surfing lessons for the flick, but Teller is now off to star in “Too Old to Die Young”.

Claflin is known for his role in “The Hunger Games” series as character Finnick Odair. He kinda looks like Teller too, so could be an easy transition. Thanks to The Wrap for the story.
