Will Poulter (“We’re The Millers”) is in talks to join Leonardo DiCaprio in revenge thriller “The Revenant”.
According to Variety, Tom Hardy may also be in negotiations to join the cast of the adaptation of the Michael Punke novel.
The New Regency adaptation has long been in development but is now looking at a fall production start date with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu set to helm.
Mark L. Smith adapted the script with Inarritu. The book follows a 1820s frontiersman as he seeks vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling.
Inarritu will produce with Steve Golin, Keith Redmon, David Kanter, Arnon Milchan and James Skotchdopole.
Poulter can next be seen in Wes Ball’s “The Maze Runner” starring opposite Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Aml Ameen and Patricia Clarkson.
