A second sequel to micro-budget success story “The Purge” is in the works.
According to Deadline, “The Purge : Anarchy” director James DeMonaco has been retained by Universal to write and likely helm the third in the series.
Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes again share producing duties on “The Purge 3”.
“Dredd” producer Adi Shankar seemingly loves his film incarnation of the 2000 AD comic book as much as film fans… so he’s given them more.
Not a sequel, no – but a web series.
Shankar has been quietly developing – for a couple of years now, apparently – a 7-part web series that will hit the web next month. Best of all, it’s free.
No word on whether Karl Urban reprises his role as the helmet-hatted Dredd.
