Mother’s Day adds six more

Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, Timothy Olyphant, Jack Whitehall, Aasif Mandvi and Loni Love have joined the ensemble cast of “Mother’s Day”.

Headlining the romantic comedy are Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis.

Olyphant is on board to play the ex-husband of Aniston’s character. Mitchell will play his new wife, who strives to be the perfect stepmom. Robertson is attached to portray a slightly neurotic new mother to a one-year-old girl.

Garry Marshall, who directed previous emsemble rom-coms “Valentine’s Day” and “New Year’s Eve”, is directing from a script by Anya Kochoff-Romano, Lily Hollander, Matt Walker and Tom Hines.

Producers are Wayne Rice and Gulfstream Pictures’ Mike Karz, with Daniel Diamond and Brandt Andersen.

Production began on August 19 in Atlanta with the film set for release on April 29.
