From Amber : I’m with you that Mel Gibson should get back on the big screen [and] not hide behind the cameras. Must be bad news day for me hearing about no more Tobey Maguire for ‘Spiderman’ according to the Australia press when he was promoting ‘The Good Shepherd’, The last Harry Potter film will be 2010 so sad letting this franchise end. Onto ‘Indiana Jones’, more sad news that Natalie Portman is not in it. The ‘Batman’ recast is so lame. Why no confirmation about Maggie yet? I’m almost through whining, they could ruin my childhood cartoons ‘Transformers’ and now they could do the same with ‘GI-Joe’. Yooooo Joe!
Slow down girl… slow down… OK, lets start with the first comment : Mel Gibson. Glad you feel the same way. Hopefully we’ll see him back on the big screen before too long. As for Tobey Maguire not doing another “Spider-Man”…. The guy has been saying that for ages… lets see how much money he’s offered to do “Spider-Man 4” and then get his response (Oh, and by the way, he wasn’t promoting “The Good Shepherd” in Australia… but “The Good German”). Natalie Portman was NEVER in “Indiana Jones 4”.. that was a bullshit rumour that just spread like Candida. Yes, the “Batman” recast is a little lame (hmmm, Amber… are you a Katie Holmes fan by any chance?), but it ain’t Batman they’re re-casting, so no biggie. As for “G.I Joe”… if Wahlberg does it, I’m in. OK. That it? – Clint

From Steve : This is not a joke . It is absolutely true. Someone E mailed me a video of Chloe Sevigny performing oral sex on an unknown male. She is really talented and is really in to it. It\’s not a look a like. It is her. Is she nuts, allowing someone to video her during an intimate moment? I’ve kept the video, so I can prove what I am saying. It was accompanied by several others including Paris Hilton.
That’s nothing new. It was probably footage from Chloe’s 21st Birthday (or even a scene from her movie “The Brown Bunny” – which, I gotta say, is more likely the case here). But hang onto the video… you might need it for a rainy day… or night – Clint

From Nick : Hey. I heard from someone on imdb.com that ‘Wonder Woman’ by Joss Whedon has been cancelled…and sure enough its not on Joss’s imdb page….that sucks…is the movie still a-go, only without Mr.Whedon??
Exactly. Where you been man? This was all over the web about a month ago. Whedon was removed from the project over ‘creative differences’. Producer Joel Silver is still pushing the project forward though – not that it sounds like it’s moved any closer to being a reality – telling several sites this week that it’s still a long ways off. “You know, it’s going to [work]. … We just couldn’t figure it out, but we’ll get there…we’ll get back to it soon”, said Silver, adding that they don’t plan on using the spec script they took off the market a couple of months back. “I don’t think so,” he explains. “We didn’t buy it for that. There were some good ideas in it, but it was out there, and we wanted to just kind of not have it not floating around. We wanted just to acquire it and keep it” – Clint

From Nina : Guy Pearce is married? That sucks. The good ones are always taken
Yep, and here’s my ring… oh, and the one on my finger – Clint.

From Chris : Hello Clint, With all of these direct to dvd movie sequels why aren’t they doing the same for old tv shows? Are there any rumours of direct to dvd episodes of CHEERS? Millions of fans want to see Sam and Diane get married!
Because it’s too hard and too expensive to get the original cast of shows like “Cheers” back together. It’s much easier to just grab a bunch of unknowns and have them star in an ‘in-name only’ sequel to something – Clint

From Dana : Do you think there’s any chance Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway will do a sequel to “Devil Wears Prada”? Even better if Meryl Streep is still part of the film. I love Meryl.
I don’t see where a sequel could go; the first film had a rather conclusive finish. I also don’t think Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt or Meryl Streep would be too keen. They’re all onto new things by now. There is, however, word that a TV series based on “Prada” is in development… so that might hold you over. (Or, just tune into “Ugly Betty” – its kinda the same thing) – Clint

From Holden : hey clint when are they going to make a spawn 2 that be really cool spawn and spider man team up two hero,s saveing world recast michel jay white as spawn and tobey magurie as spider man again holden
Geez, we missed you man. Um, “Spawn” and “Spider-Man” teaming up? Yep, great idea. Playing exclusively in your sleep. In other words dude, never going to happen. Two different studios. A “Dukes” Vs “Spawn” movie, though? Hell…. Now there’s an idea. – Clint

From Sheryl : Just received a double pass to see “Bobby”, which I won in one of your fabulous competitions. Thanks so much – can\’t wait to see this one. Keep up the excellent work!
Wow, appreciative customer! Thanks Sheryl! – Clint

From Will: How about hiring Jake Gyllenhaal to take the place of Harrison Ford for Indiana Jones. Ford is way too old and are they going to CGI most of his scenes?
You’re fuckin’ joking, right? God I hope you don’t work for Paramount – Clint

From Kathy : Hello Clint, Any hope for Bennifer to do Daredevil again? They can make it better altogether with a stronger writing.
No chance in hell. Ben and Jen have both moved on, as has the series from them. Word is Marvel might be looking at getting a revamped “Daredevil” up themselves – a’la “The Incredible Hulk” – with a new cast. Probably won’t happen for a couple of years though – Clint

From Monica : Clint, how are you connecting Russell Crowe to “American Yakuza” (1993). As a certified (certifiable?) Viggo Mortensen fan(atic) I have the movie and have seen it a multitude of times. And just in case my eyes were failing me, I searched on IMDB under Russell Crowe, “American Yakuza” (1993)[, and “Back to Back: American Yakuza 2” (1996)–which I have not seen]. Is there another sequel to these two? .
Crowe’s film “No Way Back” was originally conceived as a sequel to the “American Yakuza” series. It was re-tooled to be more of a stand-alone sequel, but is still considered, in some circles, to be a continuation of that series. – Clint

From Rosanne : Just a quick thank you for arranging for Greg McLean to answer the question on Rogue’s release. I am so looking forward to finally seeing this movie it’s taken a long time to be released and it has my favourite actor in it, Michael Vartan. Hope though that it will be released in Australia as well and that there will be lots of publicity on it so that it gets a decent opportunity to do well for both Australia’s movie industry and for Michael Vartan. Cheers.
Pleasure. And remember “Never Smile at a Crocodile” (that’s a hint about a piece of music in the movie) – Clint

From Karen : Nicolas Cage as “The Fly” tell me that’s not true!?
It’s not. A source on the film tells us that the “news came out of nowhere… there’s not even a script yet”. Apparently Todd Lincoln was writing the remake of the Cronenberg classic, but he’s since parted ways with the studio – Clint

From Paul : You run a production company with Chris Showerman? The new “Flash Gordon” Is that true… that he has the role? What can you tell us?
No. Nothing to tell. He’s a contender, yes. Has he got the role? No – Clint

From Tim : Just looked at IMDB Pro. You make movies with the new “Flash Gordon”?!
No, that’s “Flesh Gordon” – Clint

From Christine : Did you find out for me whether or not Channel 7 is going to put “Alias” back on?
Unfortunately, the new publicist at Channel 7 here in Melbourne didn’t respond to your query. Sorry. Maybe try the switchboard? – Clint

From Chris : Do you have a MySpace?
Yeah. I usually have it at the top of the page… but here it is : here – Clint
