Umpteen years after “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer” hit a high note (and before it, “Chicago Hope”), The CW and executive producer Greg Berlanti are putting the music back into primetime drama.
An upcoming crossover episode of “The Flash” and “Supergirl” will be a musical, Berlanti announced at the TCA’s.
Apparently the castmembers of both shows have solid singing voices (Jesse L.Martin, for one, showed his off regularly on “Ally McBeal”) so that’s likely the reasons these two shows were chosen over, say, “Legends of Tomorrow” and “Arrow” for the big musical event.
