Netflix is looking to get another Marvel series off the ground, this time opting to develop “The Punisher”, a spinoff series following the “Daredevil” vigilante played by Jon Bernthal.
According to TVLine, the show is all but officially in the works.
Bernthal will first appear in “Daredevil” as Punisher when the show’s second season premieres on March 18.
Should Netflix give “The Punisher” the green light, the show would become the streaming service’s sixth Marvel series, following “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, and the upcoming “Luke Cage”, “Iron Fist” and “The Defenders”.
