New Line prepping Undisputed 3

Second sequel to Walter Hill’s boxing drama

Action-movie director Isaac Florentine told Moviehole over the weekend that NewLine’s “Undisputed II : Last Man Standing” has been quite a success, and as a result, the studio’s already keen to put a third chapter in stores.

“It looks like there will be a third film and it’ll be a trilogy”, Florentine, whose currently directing the Jean Claude Van Damme vehicle, “The Shepherd”, said. “I am happy about this.”

The sequel to Walter Hill’s boxing pic has been a hot renter, says Florentine, and he’s had a lot of praise – and from the most unlikely of places.

“I got warm reactions from people I never got before, like Harvey Weinstein who told me that he loves the film, and others from New Line and Sony, so I think I made a step forward”.
