Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will distribute the long-awaited “Batman” live-action television series (1966-68) as a complete box set later in 2014.

A “Veronica Mars” spin-off web series is in the works. Likely consisting of six to eight 10-minute segments, it will include appearances from regular castmembers like Kristen Bell. “Rob [Thomas] and I spoke last night,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz. “He’s very excited about doing this for CW Seed. The first look at Marvel’s new one-shot short “Hail to the King”, which sees Ben Kingsley reprising his faux ‘Mandarin’ character from “Iron Man 3”, is online.

Linda Cardellini, Jason Lee, Craig Robinson and Ursula Parker have signed to star in indie caper comedy “Lost in Austin”, for director Will Raee.”Cardellini will play a wife and mother who — fed up with her mundane lifestyle — comes up with a plan to make her family instant celebrities by having her ex-boyfriend (played by Lee) kidnap her 11-year-old daughter for a month. Robinson will portray an ex-con and Parker will play the daughter.” (Variety)
